LWV Community Partnerships

10 - 11:30 am, Saturday May 1, 2010 - Montana Branch Library
Wilmont Neighborhood Council and LWV present a Ballot Measure Briefing on Measure A and Propositions 13,14,15,16,17.
12 - 1 pm, Saturday May 1, 2010 - Invited guests speak on Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Special Parcel Tax Election plus other advocacy/action taken on Propositions 15 and Proposition 16

Why LWV is involved

The League of Women Voters Education Fund conducts voter service and citizen education activities. It is a nonpartisan nonprofit public policy educational organization, which:

Builds citizen participation in the democratic process.
Studies key community issues at all government levels in an unbiased manner.
Enables people to seek positive solutions to public policy issues through education and conflict management.
